Services Corporation has worked in the Kensington neighborhood
of Philadelphia to rekindle hope in the hearts of Philadelphians who have seen factories
close, jobs disappear, and life chances dim.
Families in Transition provides safe, affordable housing and comprehensive
social services to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming
homeless, enabling them to gain self-sufficiency and respect. In 2011 Families in
Transition served 517 individuals and more then half of them were children. Supporting
our families with basic needs such as warm coats is extremely important to those

Wonderland Thrift Shop A 501 (c) 3 Not for Profit Organization
As a non-profit shop, Wonderland's goal is help alleviate poverty and improve the
lives of families and individuals within our community by offering high quality
gently used clothing, toys, and house-wares and furniture at extremely low prices.
Wonderlands mission doesn't stop there, each time a purchase is made in the store,
profits are donated right back to the community. Wonderland is able to donate
revenue to local charities and non-profits, as well direct support those in need
for bills, rent, food, clothing and other much needed items. Donation by donation
and purchase by purchase, Wonderland truly is "Giving Back a little at a time".
